New comment element/button - function not fully intuitive

It would help if a toggle in settings for when tapping the comments icon, either creates new comments field, OR opens existing. This took a lot of muscle memory to remember when first using the app, it wasn’t obvious it’s a “new comments field button” when an existing field exists..
