Editing layout of picture pages

There are only 4 images shown on each page in a completed report. It is a bit paper wasting when printing a detailed ingoing report with hundreds images. Also the comment place besides each image is over large, causing images too small to show details.
Hope to see options for picture page layouts based on different requirements or to be allowed to customise pic pages.
